An answer that made me realize.....

Daughter : Daddy I do not want to talk to you and mummy.
Daddy : Why dear?
Daughter : You always agree with what mummy says and mummy agrees with what you say whether its right or wrong.
Daddy : OK! So tell me dear would you be happy if your mom and I never agreed at all.

The gal who finds answers so spontaneously for everything couldn't get any for this simple question.

This is true. It had reely happened. When i think of this now it makes me laugh..but am also proud of my dad who made me understand such a thing with such simple words....

It doesn't matter whether they agree or disagree so long as they hold their hands together.

I remembered this cute song from Andaz. Watch it

Well.... I do have parents who don't easily agree on things.... but that doesn't spoil family life.... All they have to know is to where to draw the line.... and keep the family above individuals...

It should never come down to ego or one-man upmanship...

Thats what i wanted to convey. I have understand what u said. I was trying to present a different perspective.

@ suresh:

I do agree with you.And moreover no person can agree on everything that others say.

The whole concept is how parents represent themselves before the child..that they are one.
