The Chinese Art!

Actually the title doesn't speak for the post still its very apt for it. When I was in 11th I had to learn a chapter in English(core). I cannot recall the name but it was about art. The chapter said that a Chinese art was something that could give different perceptions. It can have many results and not one single definition.

What I feel is... isn't everything like that?

Something is correct or wrong depends on the fact that how we perceive it. Then the statement which most people make "what is wrong is wrong whatever you say" how can it be proved correct...or is it another point of view definition? :D

A girl is beautiful or a boy is handsome...who decides...yeah I know "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" but then why do people form common opinion about ...Aishwarya Rai being beautiful and Hritik Roshan being handsome. (excuse me for the spellings if wrong)

DoUbTs and only DoUbTs!

ps:) A better post...thanx to you all again...

pps:) scheduled post agn sorry:(

If you want to know the real meaning of inner beauty, you should go and watch 'Shallow Hal' where a shallow man falls in love with a 300 pound woman because of her "inner beauty".

Yeah... it how we relate to something that gives meaning to it....
One has some (mis) perceptions sticked to one's mind. For eg, a new song has come which is too good for me bcoz i hav never watched the video. My Gf says that if u see the video, u will not hear the song. She has blocked her mind of accepting the melody bcoz she hated the visuals.

well, ash and hrithik, 'coz certain things are true to all. They are certainly not ugly, right?
But, certain people who we think not beautiful can be beautiful in someone else's eyes.
Yes, what's right and wrong is different for each person, except in certain cases
:)

well leaving aside the matter of beautiful and ugliness...everything else is truly that way..and glad that u realised it sooner than later... you do something, maybe for the good of someone, he or she doesnt always take it appreciatively and in good nature..but the tragedy lies not in that, but in perceptions ruling our sense of judgement..most wouldn't redo their good acts for someone,if not appreciated for the same...hope you get that too...

It's all about perception in the end. :)

human beings tend to generalize, they like having idols which they want to be like.
If the crowd keeps repeating someone is so and so, then you automatically take it as a fact if you dont give yourself time to think, and many of us dont bother to think at all.
I guess one should trust their own perception and not go after crowd repeating what everyone else is saying :)

A very thoughtful post, dear :)

For the post : Its all about perceptions, I agree. To me Sush is more beautiful than Ash but then, its just that everyone has their own opinion and that is it.

Well said, Priya. The Chinese Art is about looking at a particular situation through multiple scenarios. As a result, you end up considering the various options available. Beauty, Wealth, Handsomeness, etc depends upon the attitude with which the person perceives it.
