I wonder If I need a new handbag, a raincoat, a new pair of sandals some great party food some new clothes.
I wonder if I need all that when there are so many who don't get a single meal a day.
I know I won't be doing any good to those who don't have by not having any of these but am I living an enlightened life??

Confused !! But rightly said, that doesnt mean, you should leave away from thing you like or want as long as its not going overboard..
You may not part with the money saved in charity.But the guilt of opulence amidst poverty would not be there and eventually one may become compassionate.

I face this, everytime I spend some money on something that's not a 'need' but a 'want'.
